The CBSE decided to conduct the exams in two terms due to the pandemic and the consequent cancellation of the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exams last year. The CBSE concluded the CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022 for classes 10 and 12 board exam candidates on December 22, 2021.
After the results are released, the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam 2022 candidates will have to follow some simple steps to check their results. They are as follows:
Step 1: The candidates will have to login to the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in
Step 2: The candidates will then have to click on the link on the homepage that says ' CBSE Term 1 Class 10 Results 2022' or 'CBSE Term 1 Class 12 Results 2022'
Step 3: The candidates will then have to enter the required credentials
Step 4: The results will be displayed on screen
Step 5: The candidates must download the results and take a printout of the same for future reference
Apart from the official website, the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 candidates can also check their results from DigiLocker and UMANG app.
In this context, the CBSE Board exam candidates must also note that as exams across the country have been scrapped in view of the surging Covid-19 cases, the CBSE Board and the Union Ministry of Education are all set to conduct Term 2 of the 10th and 12th board examinations, as per an IANS report.
The chances of the second term of the board examination getting cancelled this year are very slim, as health experts had earlier mentioned that the third wave is under control. However, students who decide to skip the exams will be graded on the basis of their first term`s test results.
The duration of the second phase of exams will be of two hours and the questions will be subjective.
Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Academic Director of CBSE, told IANS: "The sample question papers and the marking schemes for Term 2 examinations of Class 10 and 12 have been released on the website and the schools affiliated to CBSE Board have been alerted too."
Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE`s controller of examinations, said: "If the situation gets worse, only then the second term of examinations will not be held. Marks obtained in the first phase will be considered final and based on them, the results will be prepared. But if such a situation does not arise and the second term is held successfully, the final result will be decided on the basis of 50-50 per cent marks of these two terms."
The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam 2022 candidates must keep an eye on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in in case of any exam-related updates.
