Moreover, of late, a notification dated April 1, 2020 is being circulated on the social media that claims that several changes have been introduced in conducting the CBSE board exams. Reacting to these rumours, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) tweeted, "There are some persons deliberately trying to create confusion about this year's board exams by circulating old news of 1.4.20 regarding X and XII exams. Students should ignore this old circular of last year and not be misled. Board has not issued any such information."

In its tweet, the CBSE has also attached the copies of previous years' notifications regarding the CBSE class 10 class 12 board exams. However, the CBSE has not yet issued any instructions regarding the postponement or cancellation of CBSE board exams 2021 for class 10 class 12 candidates.
The CBSE board exams for class 10 class 12 candidates are scheduled to start from May 4, 2021. The board exams will continue till June 4, 2021 for class 10 candidates. As for class 12 candidates, the CBSE board exams will end on June 14, 2021.
The CBSE class 12 practical exams have already started from March 1, 2021 and will continue till June.
In case, a CBSE board exam candidate fails to appear for the CBSE board 2021 practical exams because he/she tested COVID positive or any of the close family members of the students tested COVID positive, the concerned schools will have to re-conduct the practical exams for such students in consultation with the CBSE regional office latest by June 11.
The CBSE class 10 class 12 board exam candidates are waiting with lot of anticipation to see if CBSE issues any new circulars relating to the CBSE board exams 2021.
