Singhvi said since Axis Bank is using the Green shoe option, fear of further supply coming later is also less. There is always a concern that SUUTI sales may come in. Singhvi said that Axis Bank may now start outperforming other private banks. He said that whether Bank Nifty and Nifty moves or doesn’t move, Axis Bank will move on the upside.

Singhvi said that Axis Bank’s underperformance is over now, from here on the stock will outperform. He said that long term investors should participate in the OFS as stock will be available at 4 to 5% discount to the market price.
