Bulk Deals: HDFC sells over 7 lk shares in Ansal Housing; Vanguard dumps Airtel shares via rights entitlement

Vanguard Emerging Markets and Vanguard Total International respectively sold 22,26,009 and 20,98,907 equity shares in Bharti Airtel Limited-RE (Rights Entitlement) at Rs 208.31 per share on the NSE, as per the bulk deals data showed.

Bharti Airtel, a second-largest telecom company, has opened a Rs 21,000 crore Rights Issue on October 5, 2021, and will end on October 21, 2021. During which, the shares of Bharti Airtel rights entitlement (RE) has opened on Tuesday and will close on October 14, 2021, at the stock exchanges.

Today being the third day of RE, Reliance Mutual funds had bought 20,00,000 equity shares in the company on Tuesday, while Blackrock Indian Equities Fund had sold over 25,50,000 shares in Airtel on Wednesday, as per the data available on the NSE showed on respective days.

One of India’s largest non-banking finance company HDFC (Housing Development Finance Corporation) has sold 7,37,400 equity shares in Ansal Housing and Construction at Rs 6.66 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data today revealed.

Individual investors — Hemal Arunbhai Mehta and Sunil Kalot — each sold 1,08,000 and 48,000 equity shares in Debock Sale Marketing Ltd at Rs 50.66 and Rs 54.15 per share respectively on the NSE, according to the bulk deals data on Thursday.

On individual basis, investor Mamad Nanji Kotadia sold 16,000 equity shares in Crown Lifters Limited at Rs 157.95 per share, while Krupa Bhavin Shah off loaded 1,05,000 equity shares in GSS Infotech Limited at Rs 81.25 per share and Darshan Harish Karia sold 47,882 shares in Ortin Laboratories at 28.51 per share on the NSE, as per the bulk deals data.

Nishith Atulbhai Shah became the only investor who appeared to be buyer, unlike others. He bought 18,67,880 shares in Rollatainers Limited at Rs 2.45 apiece on the NSE, the bulk deals data reported.
