7th Pay Commission, 7th CPC latest news today: In a bid to provide big Diwali bonanza to state government employees, the government is mulling to give 30 days ad-hoc bonus to its employees.
7th Pay Commission, 7th CPC latest news today: The festival period is really leading to great celebrations for government employees at both state and central government levels as a number of allowances and bonuses are being declared for them. They will get hefty salaries and it will surely lead to a big and bright Diwali that they and their families will celebrate with great pomp and splendour! In a bid to provide big Diwali bonanza to its 14 lakh state government employees, the Uttar Pradesh government is mulling to give 30 days bonus ahead of the festival of lights. Over and above that, there is more good news! The Yogi Adityanath government is also mulling to the credit salary of its employees on the 25th of October rather than 31st so that it becomes easier for the 14 lakh state government employees to celebrate the festival of lights with an increased salary in their hand. Under the 7th CPC norms, in the wake of 30 days bonus, a state government employee will get up to Rs 7,000 ad-hoc bonus. Diwali 2019 date is Sunday, 27th October.
Notably, the UP Government has recently announced 5 per cent Dearness Allowance after the central government's decision to give 5 per cent DA for all central government employees, which means all UP government employees will get three month arrears (July, August and September) when the October month salary gets credited in their salary account. Since the Travel Allowance also gets increased in sync with the DA hike, all 14 lakh UP government employees will receive TA hile also when they get their October month salary in their hand.

With the hike in DA, Travel Allowance (TA) of the UP State Government employees' salaries will automatically get inflated by the same percentage means 5 per cent (as recommended by the 7th Pay Commission which was accepted by the Central Government). Due to this TA hike, a state or central government employee will get an additional monthly pay hike from Rs 540 to Rs 4,320, depending upon their grade pay and Level. Hence, the Uttar Pradesh government employees are expected to get a big Diwali bonanza under 7th CPC when they receive their October month salary.
