With the number of people using the same ATM machine, it is not the safest option to put in your card, type and withdraw cash from them. However, there are banks that offer cardless cash withdrawal facility to their customers, including ICICI Bank.

ATMs were introduced so that bank customers don’t need to visit the branch and complete formalities. The strange times that we are living in, even that’s not enough. With the number of people using the same ATM machine, it is not the safest option to put in your card, type and withdraw cash from them. However, there are banks that offer cardless cash withdrawal facility to their customers, including ICICI Bank.  

With this service, customers can withdraw cash from over 15,000 ATMs of the bank by simply raising a request on ‘iMobile’, its mobile banking application. It is a simple and convenient way to withdraw cash without using a debit card.  

The ‘Cardless Cash Withdrawal’ service can be used for self-withdrawal when customers do not wish to carry the debit card. The daily transaction limit as well as per transaction limit is set at Rs 20,000.

How to withdraw cash from ICICI bank ATM without debit card? 

On the iMobile app, go to Services > Click on 'Cardless Cash withdrawal' option. 

Enter amount, 4-digit temporary PIN and select account number from which the amount is to be debited. 

Confirm the details displayed in the pre-confirmation screen and click on 'submit'. 

You will receive a success message over the screen of transaction completion 

Alternatively. You can visit a specified ICICI Bank ATM and enter the registered mobile number, the temporary 4-digit code which you have set, the 6-digit code (as received in SMS) and the exact withdrawal amount. Cash will be dispensed on successful authentication of all the parameters. 

Note that the entire amount needs to be withdrawn as a one-time transaction. The cash withdrawal request and OTP are valid up to next day midnight.
