Weather prediction: Thunderstorm accompanied by lighting and gusty winds (30-40 Kmph) at isolated places are very likely over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha and Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on Friday, IMD said in a statement today. Dust storm and gusty winds (30-40 Kmph) at isolated places over Rajasthan are also expected. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Konkan and Goa, Saurashtra and Kutch, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands.

On Saturday, thunderstorm accompanied with lighting and gusty winds (30-40 Kmph) are expected at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha and Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Dust storm and gusty winds (30-40 Kmph) are expected at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi and Rajasthan.

Rainfall is expected at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Konkan and Goa, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

On Sunday, thunderstorm accompanied by lightning, hail and gusty winds (40-50 Kmph) is expected at isolated places very likely over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Gusty winds (30-40 Kmph) expected at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand and Odisha. Dust storm and gusty winds (30-40 Kmph) are expected at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Heavy rainfall at isolated places is expected over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and Coastal Karnataka.
