India's import of crude oil from Russia has increased by more than 50 times since April and its share in the total imported oil has increased to 10%. According to the news of PTI, a senior government official gave this information on Thursday. Russia's share of crude oil India imported from Russia was only 0.2% before the Ukraine-Russia war.

Crude prices fell sharply in the commodity market today. Brent crude slipped below 109.79 per barrel and WTI 104.21 per barrel. The price of crude on MCX is trading with a decline near Rs 8155.
