BMW i4: BMW India is all set to launch its first all-electric Gran Coupé BMW i4 on May 26, 2022. It is the five-door model that comes equipped with fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology for sporty performance figures, as per the website said.
According to the company's official website, "the BMW i4 delivers outstanding dynamics with a high level of comfort and the ideal qualities to make it your daily driver. With a long range of up to 590 kilometres and five spacious full-sized seats, it is the perfect companion for any journey."

1. The BMW i4 is produced with 100% green energy
The production of the BMW i4 is sustainable and uses green energy exclusively. In addition, the BMW i4's high-performance battery was designed to completely avoid rare earth metals. 2. The BMW i4 eDRIVE40 delivers a range of up to 590 KM
According to the official website, the BMW i4 has a range of up to 590 kilometers thanks to a combination of an efficient drivetrain concept, lightweight construction, aerodynamic design, and a powerful high-voltage battery. Innovative technologies, such as brake energy recovery, help to extend the range and reduce energy consumption.
3. Energy consumption and CO2 emissions of the BMW i4
The values are preliminary and were calculated using the WLTP test cycle, said BMW.
"Official data on power consumption and electric range were determined in accordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment. For newly type-tested vehicles since 01.01.2021, the official data no longer exist according to NEDC, but only according to WLTP," the official BMW India website said.
