BMW Motorrad launched the all-new BMW S 1000 RR superbike on Thursday in India.
The all-new BMW S 1000 RR will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and can be booked at BMW Motorrad dealerships from today onwards, BMW confirmed in a statement.
PRICES and VARIANTS
BMW S 1000 RR is available in 3 variants and models: The ex-showroom prices are as follows –
-BMW S 1000 RR Standard: Rs 18,50,000
-BMW S 1000 RR Pro: Rs 20,95,000
-BMW S 1000 RR Pro M Sport: Rs 22,95,000
The BMW S 1000 RR is available in two color options: ‘Racing Red’ and ‘Light White / Lupin Blue Metallic/ Racing Red’ with Motorsport finish.
BMW S 1000 RR is fitted with 4-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 999 cc. The engine generates 152 kW (207 hp) at 13,500 rpm.
BMW S 1000 RR is fitted with the four modes ‘Rain’, ‘Road’, ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Race’ as standard.
Moreover, the all-new RR has ABS Pro (Anti-lock Braking System), DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) and DTC Wheelie Function as standard. "The optional DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) adjusts the electronic chassis optimally to the riding situation within milliseconds," says BMW.
It has multifunctional instrument panel – the 6.5" TFT display - as well.
