Major auto companies offer heavy discounts on New year sale

These offers came after when the government has decided to push BS-VI fuel which has left plenty of stock with auto dealers with a surplus stock.

Major auto companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai and even luxury car brand Audi have announced heavy discounts on their vehicles to boost their sales as the end of year 2017 is inching closure.

Also, these firms are also offering free insurance, exchange bonuses, lower interest rates, free accessories, discounted annual maintenance contracts, gold coins and free EMI holidays.

These offers came in the wake of the government announcement to push BS-VI fuel which left auto dealers with a few option to clear their surplus stock.

Earlier on November 15, the petroleum ministry decided on preponement of BS-VI grade auto fuels in NCT of Delhi to tackle the high pollution levels.

Here are the details of the offers which can be availed.

Audi on its website launched a sale stating "Buy in 2017 and Pay in 2019" on its models like Audi A3, Audi A4, Audi A6 and Audi Q3.

You can now purchase Audi A3 at Rs 26.99 lakh - a discount of Rs 5 lakh from its fixed price of Rs 31.99 lakh. While Audi A4 is available at Rs 33.99 lakh (discount of Rs 5.98 lakh) from the list price of Rs 39.97 lakh and Audi Q3 at Rs 29.99 lakh (discount of Rs 3.41 lakh) from list price of Rs 33.40 lakh.

The highest discount Audi provided was on its Audi A6 - a whopping Rs 8.85 lakh has been made off on it and is now sold at Rs 44.99 lakh compared to list price of Rs 53.84 lakh.

Tata Motors too has rolled out 'Mega Offer Max Celebration campaign’, where a customer will get a once-in-lifetime opportunity to drive home a Tata car at a down payment of Rs 1 lakh and can save up to Rs 1 lakh depending upon on the model and variant.

Tata Motors model's like Hexa, Tiago, Tigor, Zest and Storme are offered at discounts ranging between Rs 26,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

At the same time, Maruti is also offering discounts on its models like Alto, Brezza, Wagon R, Swift, Celerio, Ignis and Ertiga. Customers can get benefit on these cars over Rs 19,000 compared to their ex-showroom price.

The customers can get benefit up to Rs 36,099 on Maruti's Dzire, Ciaz and Baleno model.

South Korea's Hyundai too has announced a "December Delight" offer where it is providing 100% on-road finance. Hyundai customers can avail benefit of Rs 80,000 - Rs 90,000 on New Grand i10, Rs 65,000 on EON, Rs 60,000 on all new XCENT and Rs 55,000 on Elite i20 abd i20 active.

Hyundai's Elantra and Tucson have an exchange offer of Rs 70,000 each.

Meanwhile, other auto dealers like Honda Cars India, Volkswagen and Renault are also not far away in providing discounts and various offers to take on their rivals and boost their sales by December end.

Volkswagen has announced discounts of up to Rs 1.1 lakh. Buyers can avail benefit of Rs 60,000 on the company's Polo, while benefit on Vento cars is up to Rs 1.1 lakh including Rs 90,000 cash discount.

Renault is also giving Rs 10,000 worth accessories at a finance rate of nearly 8% on Kwid. Also, customers can get a cash discount up to Rs 90,000, and one year free insurance on Duster AMT.

Similarly, one year insurance is being offered on Honda City; Rs 1.5 lakh discount on the CR-V and a cash discount of Rs 30,000 on Honda Jazz.

It may be noted that all the offers mentioned above by various dealers will end by December 2017, so book as soon as you can to drive your dream car.
