Tata Harrier, Safari Facelift Launch: Tata Motors has launched the much-awaited facelifted versions of its popular SUVs — Tata Harrier and Tata Safari on Tuesday, October 17. These revamped models, which have garnered substantial interest for their refreshed styling and updated features since their recent unveiling, have finally been launched.
Both of these vehicles come equipped with a TFT digital display and built-in voice commands for Alexa, Siri, and Google Voice Assistance.
2023 Tata Harrier: Price, engine, features
The ex-showroom starting price for Tata Harrier is Rs15.49 lakh, with the top variant priced at Rs 24.49 lakh. Meanwhile, the automatic transmission version starts at Rs 19.99 lakh.

The interior of the new Harrier has undergone significant changes, featuring the Harrier mascot on the doors and 7 airbags for enhanced safety. Additionally, a premium audio experience is offered with 10 JBL speakers.
The new Harrier comes with a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 4 cylinders, generating 170 PS of power and 350 NM of torque. It provides a mileage of 16.80 km per liter with manual transmission and 14.60 km per liter with automatic transmission.
It is decked with LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs with sequential turn indicators, LED fog lamps, new roof rails, R18 alloy wheels with aero inserts, the Harrier mascot on the doors, voice-controlled mood lighting, and an electric panoramic sunroof. A digital steering wheel with an illuminated logo and a central control panel are also featured.
2023 Tata Safari: Price, engine, features
The price of the new Tata Safari begins from Rs 16.19 lakh ex-showroom, with the top-tier variant reaching Rs 25.49 lakh. The automatic variant is available at Rs 20.69 lakh ex-showroom.
For the Safari Facelift, Tata has introduced a new parametric grille, BI-LED projector headlamps, end-to-end connected LED DRLs, signature connected LED tail lamps, and R19 dual-tone spider alloy wheels. It also features a Safari logo mascot on the doors and chrome accents, among other additions. The new model includes iconic roof rails, a dual-tone 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, leatherette seats, and multi-mood lighting.
The new Safari is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine producing 170 PS of power and 350 NM of torque. It offers a similar mileage to the new Harrier. Both the new Safari and the Harrier facelift have a 50-liter fuel tank. The boot space for the 2023 Safari is 420 liters when the third row is folded and expands to 827 liters when both the second and third rows are folded. The Harrier, on the other hand, offers 445 liters of boot space, expanding to 815 liters when the seats are folded.
The new Safari boasts ventilated seats, LED DRLs, connected taillights, fog lamps, and vertically positioned headlights.
In the Indian market, the new Safari will face direct competition from the Mahindra XUV 700, Isuzu D-Max, MG Hector 2023, and MG Hector Plus 2023.
