Triumph launches new Street Triple RS in India priced at Rs 10.55 lakh

Triumph Motorcycles launched a new launched a new version of the updated Street Triple RS in India priced at Rs 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The company expects this new motorcycle to take on its competitor Harley Davidson's motorcycle.
The Triumph Street Triple RS comes with a 765cc engine which churns out 123PS of peak torque. Triumph has added seven more models across five categories in its portfolio in India, from the 10 models it had earlier.
The motorcycle comes with a 765cc in-line 3-cylinder, liquid cooled engine which is capable of producing 121BHP of maximum power and 77Nm of peak torque. The Street Triple RS comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director of Triumph India said that India is their focus market and will continue to bring new models into the country, according to a New India Express report. He further said that they are the fastest growing in the premium space right now in the country and the new Triumph Street Triple RS is a force machine that delivers in terms of performance and style.
The company in terms of sales has sold about 4,500 units in India. It plans to expand its sales network by adding three more dealerships at Goa, Mangalore and Gurgaon during 2017-18. It also plans to increase the local assembly of models at its plant in Manesar.
