Volkswagen launch Ameo Pace special edition on Indian roads at Rs 6.10 lakh

The Germany-based Volkswagen has rolled out Ameo Pace special edition on Indian roads priced at Rs 6.10 lakh in ex-showroom Delhi. On it's official website, the company defines the new car as, "Raise your pride a notch higher with the all new Ameo Pace. Drive home this pride with new features and added benefits!." Not only this, the company is giving benefits of Rs 20,000 on exchange and loyalty.

The Ameo’s petrol engines are designed to give you the smoothest drives with precise torque control to give you the best fuel economy. In the new car, Volkwagen has added a 1.0-litre petrol engine replacing the 1.2-litre motor - which was first introduced in the Polo recentlu. This petrol engine has capability of producing a 999cc, three-cylinder unit delivering 76hp at 6,200rpm and 95Nm torque at 3,000-4,300rpm.

Meanwhile, there chunky turbocharged diesel engine is the perfect choice for those who love power and the pushback from the torque. Packed with 1.5-litre TDI diesel enginem, the Ameo Pace and churns out 108 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.
On exterior, Ameo Pace comes with 100% galvanised steel body that’s enclosed by a laser-welded roof. There are also Anti-lock Braking System, that comes standard which is fitted in the car ensuring that you stop when you want to stop, without fearing unnecessary lag.
In the interior, there is dual front airbags come standard, so you and your co-passengers are always protected in the event of a collision.
