Volvo XC40: Volvo is all set to launch its new electric compact SUV -- Volvo XC40 in India next week. According to the company's announcement, XC40 offers smart storage and design solutions.
The company is advertising the pure electric compact SUV as #FutureIsElectric. The new vehicle will be launched on July 26, the company has officially announced.
"72% charged. The Future is not polluted. The Future is electric. Stay Tuned. 4 days to go," the company recently tweeted.

"There is nothing slow about the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric. It builds and sustains speed rather quickly, giving you that rush you’d get in a sports car," Volvo Car India tweeted.
The company also claims that the Volvo XC40 features fast charging which helps the car to charge 10-80% in just 28 minutes.
"It is a common assumption that charging an EV is like charging any other appliance - problematic and frequent. However, charging an EV is far less stressful as it seems. With great range and the ease of home charging, it's actually quite easy," the company said.
Talking about the interior of the XC40, the car is 100% leather-free. "The interior of the XC40 Recharge has been created without the use of any leather and is a living expression of responsible luxury," the official website said.
The car also has topography-inspired translucent back-lit decor and partially recycled carpets.
The pure electric compact SUV has smart storage solutions for water bottles, gym bags, phones, laptops, take-away food, and much more, as well as a front compartment for charging cables.
