The first phase of the Ola Future factory is nearing completion and will be operationalised soon, while the full capacity of 10 million vehicles per annum will be built by next year.

Ola Electric opened the reservation for its electric scooter on the evening of 15 July 2021. If you want to reserve it, you can do it by just paying for Rs 499 via its official website -- olaelectric.com.

Ola has announced that the Electric Scooter can be reserved by paying just Rs 499. Ola has tweeted on this. “It’s day 1 of the revolution, the day we’ve all been eagerly waiting for! The Ola Electric Scooter can now be reserved at just Rs 499. So #ReserveNow to #JoinTheRevolution at http://olaelectric.com and be first in line to the future of mobility!”

Since the Electric Scooter is expected to launch, Ola has answered some basic queries on its official page.

On booking and cancellation, Ola has replied: “Reserving an Ola Scooter by paying Rs 499 means that you will be first in line to purchase it when we announce deliveries. You can cancel and get a refund anytime. To reserve your Ola Scooter, simply click here. You'll have to login via your phone number, using an OTP validation. Post signing in, you can reserve your Ola Scooter by paying Rs 499 using net banking, credit/debit cards, UPI, e-wallets or through OlaMoney. Yes, you may reserve multiple scooters if you wish.”

“Yes, you can cancel or modify your order in the near future. The reservation amount is completely refundable. Upon cancellation, the refund will be made to your original mode of payment within 7-10 working days,” Ola said.

If wished to transferred, it said: “Yes, you may transfer the Ola Scooter in someone else's name. Write to us at support@olaelectric.com to raise a request. You do not need any documents to reserve the Ola Scooter. Just sign in using your phone number, authenticated by OTP. Reserving your Ola Scooter now will put you in a queue and give you the first purchase preference when we announce deliveries.

The Ola Scooter will be competitively priced, and the final pricing will be announced soon, the company has mentioned.
