Amazon announces three day Great Indian Sale to begin from August 9

Amazon India on Tuesday announced that it will begin its three day Great Indian sale on August 9.

“The ‘Amazon Great Indian Sale’ is back offering Big Deals on Big Brands! From 12 am (midnight) on August 09 to 11.59 pm on August 12,” the company said.

The sale will include deals on smartphones to fashion wear, cashback offers and gift cards with up to 20% off. The company said 10 crore products will be on sale.

“With great deals on popular brands, fast and on-time delivery and easy returns, customers can shop from over 100 million products across hundreds of categories on Amazon.in. The Amazon Great Indian Sale, will have irresistible deals across a wide a range of products in categories including Smartphones, Consumer Electronics, Fashion, Home & Kitchen, large appliances, Sports & fitness among others,” the company said.

The brands on sale Amazon said will include - Apple, OnePlus, Samsung, UCB, Puma, Adidas, Wrangler, Titan, Marks & Spencer, American Tourister, Vero Moda, BPL, Micromax, TCL, Lenovo, HP, IFB, Bosch, D’Décor, McAfee and Kaspersky among others.

“In addition, Amazon Prime members can look forward to exclusive Prime-only deals apart from 30 minutes early access to top deals,” Amazon said.

Cashback deals

Customers topping up their Amazon Pay balance starting August 4 will get extra 15% cashback up to Rs 300.

“Amazon.in is also offering ‘Amazon Pay balance only deals’ on Apparel, Storage and Home with instant 10%-15% cashback,” the e-commerce website said.

“SBI is offering customers even more savings during this event with an additional cashback of 15% on App and 10% on site when they pay with debit and credit card,” the company added.

Play and win

Amazon also announced other deals on travel from goomo.com. “Customers who shop on the App will also be eligible for exciting travel offers from goomo.com like all-expense paid trips to Bali.”

“Customers get to play ‘Guess Who,’ solve puzzles and get a sneak peak of the products that will go on a deal during the actual sale event. The program will be live on 7th and 8th August exclusively on the app. There will be a new puzzle every hour from 10 AM to 10 PM on both the days,” the company said.

“Customers wanting to surprise their loved ones with Gift Cards can also rejoice with a 5% cashback on all email GiftCards. There will also be an up to 20% off on popular Gift Cards like BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Pantaloons and Joyalukkas,” Amazon added.
