Flipkart today announced that the e-commerce major firm would kick off `the Big Billion Days` sale from September 29 to October 4 for product categories including Fashion, TVs & Appliances, Home & Furniture, Beauty, Sports, Toys, Books, Smart Devices, Personal Care Appliances, Travel and more. In the six-day sale, there will be 4-hour early access for Flipkart Plus consumers. Flipkart will commence the sale for mobiles, smartphones, devices and accessories from September 30. Buyers will be able to get a new smartphone with major price cuts and discounts in this festive season. Those interested to buy smart TVs and appliances, could get going from September 29.

Over the last few months, Flipkart has claimed to scale up its supply chain considerably, both in first, and last-mile delivery, largely in under-penetrated parts of the country to cater to the needs of both consumers and sellers, said IANS report.
