India’s largest private sector lender HDFC Bank today launched its next-gen mobile banking app to offer its bank account holders effortless access to their own bank accounts. The next-gen app is not just simple, the new HDFC Bank mobile banking app has a tremendous safety device built in too. It packs an intuitive navigation feature that incorporates features like biometric log in for enhanced security and access.
The new HDFC Bank mobile banking app is also extremely easy to use. For most bank account holders, the most difficult part is to cut through the confusion created by a number of inter-changing, inter-related options and this app, offers relief from problems like that. In fact, the new app eliminates all financial and technical jargon for users by grouping transactions into three easy categories — Pay, Save, and Invest. An overall view is provided to customers through a dashboard that offers a 360 degree financial snapshot of all assets and liabilities with the bank.

2. Simple navigation based on customer needs like Pay, Save, Invest
3. Notification by the app on bill and utilities payments
4. Simpler terms for all transactions such as ‘Transfer Money’ instead of ‘Fund Transfer’
5. Smart and intuitive technology that intelligently chooses between NEFT/IMPS or RTGS depending on the size and timing of the transaction
6. Customized profile pictures like any social media channel
7. Personalised notifications and display based on consumer's usage and needs.
Notably, the new app was launched at the bank’s annual Digital Innovation Summit 2018 (DIS) in New Delhi.
