The campaign still has 35 days to go and could surpass the money it raised with last year's campaign.
In March last year, Pebble Technologies set the record for raising the fastest $1 million on Kickstarter. It raised the amount in just 49 minutes. By the end of the campaign, the company had raised $20.3 million.
Pebble is the most-funded campaign in Kickstarter's history.
While the Pebble 2 and Pebble Time 2 are affordable, heart rate-enabled smartwatches, the company also offers Pebble Core which is a hackable (customisable), 3G ultra-wearable for a phone-free running GPS and music system.
The campaign had received 30,166 backers at the time of writing.
Pebble has said that early backers will get the Pebble 2 for $99 and the Pebble Time 2 for $169. The market price when it is launched will be $129 and $199.
While the Pebble 2 will be out by September 2016, Pebble Time 2 will be launched by November 2016. As for the Pebble Core, it will be out only in January 2017.
