This new Rs 419 Airtel prepaid plan offers unlimited calls, whopping 105GB data

In a bid to retain its prime position in the telecom services market in the face of Reliance Jio onslaught, Airtel has been resorting to aggressive offers from time to time, and in the most recent action that it has taken, it has unveiled prepaid plans to give even tougher competition to its rivals. The company has recently removed the Rs 549 and Rs 799 prepaid recharges, but has introduced a new Rs 419 prepaid plan with voice and data benefits.

The Airtel offer is an open market plan available to all users in its telecom circles, said a Telecom Talk report, adding that Airtel is offering unlimited local and national calling without any FUP, including 100 free SMS daily.

The validity of Airtel Rs 419 prepaid plan is 75 days, and the users will be able to avail 1.4GB high-speed 4G data daily. This simply means that users will be able to download up to 105GB data during the validity period.

In case of non-availability of 4G network, the plan will fall back to 3G or 2G, whatever is available.

According to the report, Airtel's Rs 399 prepaid plan is offering unlimited calls, and 1.4GB daily data, for a validity period of 70 days. The plan benefits changes from user to user, while some get 70 days validity, some get 84 days validity in different circle.

Meanwhile, Airtel’s Rs 419 plan gives tough competition to the two Reliance Jio prepaid plans. The latter has Rs 398 and Rs 399 plans, offering unlimited local and national calling, unlimited SMS (100 per day) and complimentary access to Jio app suite.

Notably, the data benefits and validity changes between both the plans. The Rs 398 plan offers 70 days validity and 2GB daily data, while Rs 399 plan offers 1.5GB daily data for validity period of 84 days, the report added.
