Vodafone India introduces Rs 179 pack for prepaid customers in Bihar, Jharkhand

Telecom operator Vodafone India has launched a new pack of Rs 179 for prepaid customers residing in Bihar and Jharkhand, offering unlimited calls and data.

Vodafone in a statement said, "With the onset of festive season, Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, has introduced an attractive value proposition – ‘Vodafone Super Plan’ for the prepaid customers in Bihar & Jharkhand region, with unlimited calling and data benefits bundled in it."

Rs 179 pack is available for a period of 28 days, offering unlimited data. However, this pack will only work on 2G speed and not on 3G and 4G speeds.

There are unlimited calls service offered on both local and roaming ones, and the offer also has daily and weekly caps on them.

A user will receive only 250 minutes of free calls in a day and about 1,000 minutes on weekly basis. In case user exhausts this cap, then Vodafone will charge 30 paisa per minute on calls.

Also, prepaid customers are allowed to make only 300 unique numbers in the validity period, if this increases then they will be charged with 30 paisa per minute.

The company recently unveiled five new unlimited "Super Plan" for prepaid customers across the country.

The top most offer is made of Rs 509 which is a bonus card, offers 1GB per day on 4G or 3G data for a period of 84 days. Under this plan, a customer also gets 100 SMS per day and unlimited local and STD calls to any number even while roaming within India.

However, roaming calls under Rs 509 plan, can be made up to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. Free subscription of VF play is also available under this package.

Second on the list is Rs 458 plan, which is similar like the Rs 509 plan, however, it has validity of only 70 days.

There is another recharge offer made of Rs 349 – which provides 1.5GB per day at 4G/3G data network with a validity of 28 days.
