Because of the severity of the pandemic, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other state boards have either cancelled their exams or have postponed them.

The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has hit the country hard with the registration of daily record cases and many deaths. Because of the severity of the pandemic, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other state boards have either cancelled their exams or have postponed them.

Following the same, several competitive exams have also been postponed across the nation including ICAI CA Exam 2021, JEE Mains April and May 2021 session among others. On the other hand, some competitive exams will be conducted as per schedule like UPSC NDA 2021, COMEDK UGET 2021, etc.

Here is the list of competitive exams which have been deferred due to the pandemic:

ICAI CA Exam 2021: The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India Intermediate and Final Exams 2021 was scheduled to be held from May 21, 2021. However, the exam has been postponed till further notice.

JEE Main April-May Exam 2021: The April-May JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) has been postponed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination for the April session was scheduled on April 27, 28 and 30 and the May session exams were to be held on April 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28.

NEET-PG Exam 2021: Considering the surge in Covid-19 cases, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate exam has been delayed by 4 months till August 30. The medical entrance examination was earlier scheduled for April 18.

UGC NET 2021: The UGC National Eligibility Test has also been postponed. It was to be conducted from May 2 to 17. The revised date of the examination will be announced 15 days before the exam, as per the UGC.

UPSC Civil Service 2020 Interview: The interviews which were supposed to be held from April 26, 2021, to June 18, 2021, has been postponed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) till further notice.

ICSI CS June 2021 Exams: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has postponed the examinations that were supposed to be conducted from June 1 to 10.
