JNVST 2021: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 entrance exam on THIS date- Check details

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2021 for the selection of students for admission to Class-VI for the session 2021-22 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in all States and UTs will be conducted on 11th August, 2021.

The examination date for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2021 (JNVST) for admission to Class 6 has been announced. The selection test for Class 6 admission will be conducted on August 11, 2021.

As per the information, the entrance exam will be conducted in all states and UTs across the country by following all the safety precautions or Covid protocols.

Students who will clear the examination will get admission in Class 6 in Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. As per the information provided a total of 2,41,7009 candidates have registered for the selection test.

The information was provided by Ministry of Education over its Twitter account. “Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2021 for the selection of students for admission to Class-VI for the session 2021-22 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in all States & UTs will be conducted on 11th August, 2021 by following all safety precautions/COVID protocols,” the ministry tweeted.

"The test will be conducted for the selection of 47,320 candidates in 11,182 centres. 2,41,7009 candidates have registered for the selection test," another tweet by the Education Ministry read.

Students who have registered for the examination can download the admit card for the same by visiting the official website or clicking on the link https://cbseitms.nic.in/index.aspx.

The exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 16, 2021. "Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2021 for admission of students in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas to Class VI for the session 2021-22 which is scheduled on "16.05.2021" in all the states and UTs other than Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya is postponed due to administrative reasons. The rescheduled date will be notified at least 15 days prior to the date of selection test," the notification read.

JNVST 2021 for Class 6 is conducted in English, Hindi, and the regional language of each state.
