WBBSE Madhyamik 2021 Update: The West Bengal Board exam candidates must pay attention as there is some important news for them. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is likely to conduct the WB Class 10 Board Exam in the month of August.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said that the WBBSE will conduct the WB Class 10 Board Exam 2021 in the month of August. While addressing the media, the West Bengal Chief Minister further said that the exams are likely to take place in the second week of August.

If the media reports are to be believed, then this year the WB Madhyamik Class 10 Board Exam are likely to be held in a shorter format and within the school premises. Earlier, it was also suggested that the state government is planning to make important announcements in this regard in the first week of June after the meeting with central government.

Notably, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. In the meeting on May 23, 2021, the importance of Class 12 Board exams was discussed. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 and Class 12 Board Exam 2021 by various state boards were also the point of discussion.

A source from the school education department in West Bengal was quoted saying in The Times of India, "We are ready to take a decision as chief minister Mamata Banerjee is being regularly updated about the evolving situation. The president of both West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education and West Bengal Board of Secondary Education have submitted their proposals."

Incidentally, the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results will be evaluated on the basis of an assessment criteria which has been announced by the CBSE. Though there is a broad consensus in conducting the CBSE Class Board Exam 2021, the states and the union territories were being asked to send their feedback in writing by May 25, 2021. Expectedly, a final announcement on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be made by June 1, 2021.
