Nearly 47 lakh Central Government employees and 52 lakh pensioners are in for a treat with the 7th Pay Commission recommendations coming into force soon.
The new increased pay scale is expected to be implemented as soon as next month, according to a Zee News report.
The report said that a meeting on June 11 will be held by the group of secretaries headed by Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha which will give final shape to the 7th Pay Commission recommendations. The implementation of the 7th Pay Commission will boost the pay of lakhs of government employees.

After putting the final touches to the report the group of secretaries will give it to the Finance Ministry for final approval, which is expected to take only a few days.
The implementation of the 7th Pay Commission is estimated to put an additional burden of Rs 1.02 lakh crore, or 0.7% of GDP, on the exchequer in 2016-17.
