Aadhaar card update: HDFC bank unveils new service; can you benefit too? Find out

Now, people can update their Aadhaar card details such as Name, Address, Date of Birth/Age, Gender, Mobile Number, Email Address, Relationship Status and Information Sharing Consent easily and this can be done via HDFC Bank.

UIDAI has many services to ease the burden of the public. In this process, it has started yet another creditable service. Now, people can update their Aadhaar card details such as Name, Address, Date of Birth/Age, Gender, Mobile Number, Email Address, Relationship Status and Information Sharing Consent easily and this can be done via HDFC Bank. This lender has unveiled a services for the citizens to update their Aadhaar details whether they are customers or non-customers of the bank. This is under UIDAI service called "Aadhaar Seva Kendras"

Now, people can update Demographic details (Name, Address, DoB, Gender, Mobile Number, Email) and Biometric details (Photo, fingerprint, Iris Scan) too.

So, those people whose Demographic details and Biometric details are not up-to-date in their Aadhaar cards, then they can update the same by visiting any HDFC Bank branch.

Fees involved for updation of Aadhaar card details:
As per HDFC Bank, Aadhaar enrolment and Biometric update for kids (age of 5 to 15 years) is free of cost. If you are updating your Aadhaar card, either Demographic or Biometric, then you have to pay Rs. 50 to the Bank each time you get your details updated.

HDFC Bank also offers Aadhaar card download & colored print out services (mobile number is required), for this service the individual needs to pay Rs 30 to the bank.

Remember, that you need to carry original copies of supporting documents for Aadhaar enrollment. These original copies will be scanned and then handed back to the citizens after the enrollment.
