Bank timings in Maharashtra will change from November 1! In fact, not just banks, many changes will be seen in many sectors from next month. The most important information is related to the banking sector. From November 1, a new time table will be implemented by changing bank timings. To avoid the last-minute hassles, you should be aware of the timings of the banks in Maharashtra.
Some important changes every individual should know about bank timings in Maharashtra:
In Maharashtra, all the public sector banks are set to start with a new time table. The new time table of public sector banks in Maharashtra has been decided by the state level banker's committee.
Currently, the banks are functioning from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM in the state and the timings for cash transaction services is done till 3:30 PM.

But now the finance ministry had instructed to keep the working time of banks uniform. The working time of different banks in the same area was different.
According to the new timetable, the banks in the Residential areas will open at 09:00 AM and close at 04:00 PM, where some of the banks will open at 09:00 AM and close till 03:00 PM.

After interacting with the banks, the banking division of the Finance Ministry has decided that the branches of the banks should be opened according to the convenience of the customers. Keeping in mind these key factors, three types of time table have been implemented on banks.
In the first new time table, three options for opening of banks were suggested. First - from 9 am to 3 pm, second - from 10 am to 4 pm and third - from 11 am to 5 pm. This decision was to apply to all government and regional rural banks (RRBs).
