Government to soon replace toll plaza with GPS based tracking system, says union transport minister Nitin Gadkari
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari told the Parliament on Wednesday that the government will soon bring a GPS-based toll tracking system.
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari told the Parliament on Wednesday that the government will soon bring a GPS-based toll tracking system, in which the common man will not need to stop at the toll plaza. The toll will be deducted from GPS imaging.
Nitin Gadkari told that there will be no toll plazas in the coming days, due to which the toll line will end. A GPS-based tracking system is being developed to collect tolls from vehicles. In this, as soon as you cross a toll plaza, the toll will be deducted from your bank account. The government will soon come up with a policy for this.
"We will come out with a new policy to replace toll plazas in the country with a GPS-based tracking toll system. It means that toll collection will happen via GPS. The money will be collected based on GPS imaging (on vehicles)," Union Minister Nitin Gadkari tweeted.
