Fuel prices are revised in line with international benchmark prices and foreign exchange rates by public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs).
Petrol-Diesel Prices Today, October 31: Petrol and diesel price on Monday remained unchanged across the country. The fuel prices have remained steady for nearly five months now. The last major country-wide fluctuation in fuel prices was witnessed in May, as the Centre had cut the excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and Rs 6 per litre on diesel.
Petrol, Diesel Latest Prices in major metropolitan Cities
As per the latest revised rates, petrol and diesel in Delhi are retailing at the price of Rs 96.72 and Rs 89.62 per litre, respectively.
People living in Mumbai are shelling out Rs 106.31 for a litre of petrol and Rs 94.27 for diesel.

Petrol costs Rs 102.63 per litre in Chennai whereas diesel Rs 94.24 per litre.
