PM Kisan Mobile App How To Check 8th Installment Status Online: There is an important piece of information for the PM Kisan scheme holders. Now, the beneficiaries under PM Kisan scheme can check their status digitally by means of the PM-Kisan mobile app too. Through the eighth installment of the PM-Kisan scheme, it has released over Rs 20,000 crore to 9.5 crore farmers. For more details and information, the farmer beneficiaries under PM-Kisan scheme can login to the official website of PM- Kisan at pmkisan.gov.in.

Recently, Digital India has tweeted from its official Twitter website informing that the beneficiaries under the scheme can check their status via the PM-Kisan mobile app too. The tweet said, "All the farmer beneficiaries under #PMKISAN scheme can now check their status digitally through the PM-KISAN mobile app too. The scheme released over 20,000 crore to over 9.5 crore farmers through its 8th installment. To know more, visit pmkisan.gov.in." The PM-Kisan mobile app is available to download for the Android devices from Google Play store.

The central government has taken several measures to reach to all eligible beneficiaries under PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi). in order to broaden the reach further, the PM-KISAN mobile app designed and developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India has been launched. The various services available to the farmer beneficiaries under this PM-Kisan scheme are as follows:
1) They can register themselves for the scheme by means of the mobile app

2) They can know the status of their registration and payments with the help of this app

3) One can correct one's name as per Aadhaar with the help of this mobile app

4) A farmer beneficiary can know about the scheme from PM-Kisan mobile app

5) A famer beneficiary will also be able to dial helpline numbers with the help of this app

It has to be noted that public interfaces have been made available for self-registration, checking the payment status. Also, correction of the name as per Aadhaar has also been made available, as it is being mandatory requirement of the scheme.

The central government launched a new Central Sector Scheme called PM-KISAN in order to augment the income of the Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs). Under the scheme, a direct payment of Rs. 6000 per year will be transferred in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each, every four months into the bank accounts of eligible landholding families.
