Race 3 box office collection: Salman Khan starrer has done very well for itself overseas, even as the India numbers are yet to be revealed. The first set of numbers always comes early and that is from Australia and New Zealand. The day starts first Down Under and the final numbers for the film too get released earlier there. Race 3 is a thriller drama and it packs in the action to the maximum. Salman Khan is known for his mesmerising action sequences and this time too he is expected to take the audiences' imagination by storm. It has now been revealed that Race 3 collection day 1 at the Australia box office reached $102,854 (Rs 70.13 lakh) from as many as 41 screens. From the New Zealand box office, the film earned $68,779 (Rs. 46.89 lakh) from 27 screens.

Race 3 collection on opening day in the Indian market is expected to be anything between Rs 30 cr to Rs 35 crore. These are conservative figures and may well not be near the ultimate ones. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan holds the No. 1 spot in terms of day 1 collection for Happy New Year at Rs 44.97 cr.

Race 3 cast includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Daisy Shah and Bobby Deol. Notably, reviews have not been kind to Race 3 and even Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to dub it 'DISAPPOINTING'. However, the last word on the same will be that of the public and that will be visible in the kind of word of mouth boost that the film gets. Both Saturday and Sunday are expected to fatten up the earnings.
