Stock Market Opening Bell Today: On account of global and domestic investors awaiting US Fed meeting outcome, the Indian stock market today opened sideways in the opening bell.

Stock Market Opening Bell Today: On account of global and domestic investors awaiting US Fed meeting outcome, the Indian stock market today opened sideways in the opening bell. NSE Nifty gained 11 points and touched 11,533 mark in the opening bell today while the BSE Sensex rose 49 points and hit 39,094 mark. Bank Nifty shed 30 points and hit 22,437 levels.

Speaking on the current stock market trends Simi Bhaumik, a SEBI registered technical stock analyst said, "Market is rading range-bound and the NSE Nifty is facing strong hurdle at 11,550. Once it breaks this level then we can expect Nifty to scale up to 11,700 to 11,800 mark with ease. However, in case the profit-booking triggers at current hurdle, then the immediate support for the 50-stocks index is at 11,350 while the strong support is 11,200."

Shares of Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Sterlite Technologies, Adani Enterprises, Aditya Birla Fashion, Apollo Hospitals, Aurobindo Pharma, Biocon and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the leading gainers in the opening bell today while shares of GujaratStatePetronet, MphasiS, Amber Enterprises, Deepak Nitrite, Metropolis Healthcare, Orient Electric and Minda Corporation were among the major losers in the early morning trade session.

Auto stocks led the bull run on Dalal Street in the opening bell today. Auto major Tata Motors share price shot up 2.36 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra shares rose 2.88 per cent, shares of TVS Motor Company went up 1.90 per cent, Motherson Sumi Systems share added 1.61 per cent, Hero MotoCorp stocks escalated 1.66 per cent while Bajaj Auto stock price jumped 2.59 per cent.

Among major Asian stock indices, the Japanese Nikkei 225 added 0.17 per cent, Hang Seng shed 0.31 per cent, Kospi rose 0.15 per cent while the Shanghai index went off 0.24 per cent.

At Wall Street yesterday, Dow Jones added 0.01 per cent, Nasdaq surged 1.21 per cent, Small Cap 2000 went off 0.03 per cent while S&P 500 rose 0.52 per cent.
