According to the KMPG 2022 CEO Outlook, 86% of CEOs around the world say that a recession can knock in the next 12 months. 75% said that if a recession occurs, the difficulties of the global economy recovering from the aftershocks of the pandemic will increase. 46% of CEOs said they are planning layoffs during the next six months. 58% of CEO's think the slowdown will be slow and short. 39% of CEOs have already frozen hiring.
