Special Trains 2022: Indian Railways has notified additional 32 special services to ensure smooth and comfortable travel for passengers during this festive season.

Special Trains 2022: To clear the extra rush of passengers during the ongoing festive season, the Indian Railways has decided to run 211 special trains (2561 trips) Chhath Puja, according to PIB release.

Special Train 2022 Timing, Route, Running Dates:

The trains will connect major destinations across the country on railway routes such as Darbhanga, Azamgarh, Saharsa, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Firozpur, Patna, Katihar and Amritsar etc.

Besides, Indian Railways has notified additional 32 special services to ensure smooth and comfortable travel for passengers during this festive season.To ensure passenger safety a watch on any malpractices such as cornering of seats, over-charging and touting activity etc. are being strictly monitored.

"Crowd controlling measures by forming a queue at the terminus stations under the supervision of RPF staff for orderly entry of passengers in unreserved coaches is being ensured," the national transporter said in a press release.

179 special services were notified earlier. The trains connect railway routes like Delhi- Patna, Delhi- Bhagalpur, Delhi-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Saharsa etc.

Indian Railways mostly runs such special trains for the comfort of passengers whenever there is higher than normal passenger volume — like during the festival season. The details of stoppages and timings of these trains have been made available on the IRCTC website.
