IRCTC Sri Ramayana Yatra pilgrimage tour: The journey will begin on November 18 with the departure of the train from Delhi Safdarjung at 7 pm.
IRCTC Sri Ramayana Yatra pilgrimage tour: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a new tour package for pilgrims. The tour package - Shri Ramayana Yatra - will be via the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. As part of this package, pilgrims will get an opportunity to cover several places of religious importance. Some of the prominent places covered under this package are Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Rameshwaram and Hampi.
Itinerary of Sri Ramayana Yatra:
The journey will begin on November 18 with the departure of the train from Delhi Safdarjung at 7 pm. The first stoppage on Day 2 of the journey will be Ayodhya. Pilgrims will visit Nandigram by bus and will return to Ayodhya. The train will then depart for Janakpur. After covering Janakpur and Sitamarhi, the train will reach Varanasi on Day 6 of the journey. From there, pilgrims will go to Prayagraj.
After that, pilgrims will visit Chitrakoot and then Nasik. After that, pilgrims will visit Hampi. They will reach Rameshwaram on Day 14 of the tour. Bhadrachalam will be covered on the Day 16. The return journey will then begin with pilgrims reaching Delhi Safdarjung station on Day 18.

Cost per person for Sri Ramayana Yatra pilgrimage tour package:
Individuals will have to pay Rs 68,980 under the comfort category in the single share option. The cost per person will come down to 59,980 in the double/triple share option.
For the superior category, an individual will have to pay Rs 82,780 on a single share basis and Rs 71,980 on a double/triple share basis.
Package inclusions:
It is important to note that onboard train and off board meals are included in the package and only vegetarian food will be served to pilgrims. While the journey will be in 3AC class, night stays will be provided in standard hotels under the comfort category and deluxe hotels in the superior category.
Package exclusions:
Pilgrims should be aware that IRCTC will not cover the monument entry charges at any place under this package. Cost of sightseeing, entrance and local guides, etc are also not included in it.
Things to know:
It will be mandatory for passengers to carry Voter ID and COVID-19 final dose certificate during the journey. Also, all passengers will have to download Aarogya Setu App.
