All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur, has invited applications for the recruitment of various faculty (Group A) posts on direct recruitment basis. The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect must submit their application through e-mail by April 7 and post by April 22. The recruitment is being made to fill 17 posts of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Selected candidates will be given salary as per 7th Pay Commission Pay Level 12 and Pay Level 13.

If suitable candidate(s) is (are) not found for posts of Associate Professor in the following departments, these posts will be filled up by lower cadre in their respective category as advertised. For example, post of Associate Professor (UR-01 Post) in Department of Radiodiagnosis can be filled by lower cadre (i.e., Assistant Professor) in UR category in the same department. Therefore, candidates having eligibility for lower cadre (Assistant Professor) may also apply in following departments where posts in higher cadre are advertised.

Associate Professor: Level-13-A1+ (138300-209200) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances, including NPA (if applicable).

Assistant Professor: Level-12, (101500-167400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances, including NPA (if applicable).

AIIMS Nagpur Recruitment 2021: Essential Eligibility Criteria

Associate Professor:

1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)

2. A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

Experience:

Six years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

AIIMS Nagpur Recruitment 2021: Essential for Superspeciality disciplines:

M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:

Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. (2 years after MS or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized M.Ch. degree in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor:

For Trauma & Emergency, M.D. in Emergency Medicine or MD in General Medicine or MS in General Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience:

Three years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
