NYKAA BONUS SHARES RECORD DATE EX DATE, PUNIT COMMERCIALS BONUS SHARE RECORD DATE: Two socks will trade ex-bonus this week. A bonus share is nothing but an additional share that a company issues to its existing shareholders. The additional shares are issued free of cost. When a bonus share is issued, the price of the stock is adjusted in the ratio of the bonus. The bonus shares encourage the participation of retail investors in the long term as the stock becomes cheaper. This also increases the company's equity base. In other words, the number of outstanding shares increases and each share's value reduces. However, the face value of the stock remains the same.
For example, if a company announces to issue bonus shares in the ratio of 5:1, then eligible shareholders will get 5 additional shares for every 1 share held. To decide the eligibility of the shareholders for receiving bonus shares, the company announces a date on which one should have the shares in the Demat account The date is called the record date.
This week, two shares will be ex-bonus. The two stocks are Nykaa and Punit Commercials.

Nykaa Bonus Shares Record Date, Ratio
FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa, will issue bonus shares to its shareholders this week. The company will issue bonus shares in the ratio of 5:1. It means that Nykaa shareholders will get 5 bonus shares for every one share. The company has fixed November 11 as the record date for the issuance of the bonus share.
Nykaa Bonus Share Ex Date 2022
A share or stock trades ex-date usually a business day before the record date. Accordingly, Nykaa bonus ex-date would be a trading session prior to the record date which is November 11. Nykaa shares ex-date would be November 10 (Thursday), meaning the stocks of the beauty brand would trade ex-bonus date just a day before the record date.
If a person buys a share on/after ex-date, he/she will not be eligible to receive the benefits of the corporate actions like a bonus, split, dividend and more. To receive the bonus shares of Nykaa, one must purchase the shares at least one business day ahead of ex-date.

Punit Commercials Share Bonus Record Date
The company produces and sells products made of diamonds.
Punit Commercials is a multibagger stock. The small-cap company has announced issuing bonus shares to its shareholders in the ratio of 5:1. It means that 5 bonus shares will be given to shareholders free of cost for every 1 share hey held on the record date.
Punit Commercials shares will trade ex-bonus date on Wednesday, November 9. The stock is listed on BSE.
