Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1 announced the budget for the financial year 2022-23. After which the market is seen trading in a limited range. What is the momentum coming in the post-budget market and what will be the movement of the market from here? Gautam Shah Founder & Chief Strategist of Goldilocks Premium Research explained.

The market had a lot of expectations from the budget and nothing goes negative. So, the market is in little relaxed mode and nifty goes in a range. For now, the market has no specific trend. Good and bad days come but there is no follow-up on it.

The battle that has been going on between Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) and Domestic Institutional investors (DIIs) for a few weeks and there is a big consolidation, which is likely to continue. The upper limit is 17900 and the lower is supported by 17400-17450. And for the next 5-10 days market will consolidate in it.

US market volatility affect Indian market

It has been seen for the last 25 years that the volatility in the US market affects the Indian market. The trend is still going on.
US big stocks like Facebook, Netflix stocks have shown volatility and fall, and that's why global and Indian investors have shaken up a bit.

February will be volatile
The month of February will be a bit volatile but, in a range, - Not too much fall, not too much rise.
Hopefully, after this foundation, the market can go into a new trend when it crosses 18000. Maybe next month.
