Hindustan Zinc Dividend News, Record Date 2022: Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) reported a 3.9 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 2,017 crore for the quarter ended September 30, on the back of higher revenue from operations.
Hindustan Zinc Dividend News, Record Date 2022: Hindustan Zinc has fixed the record date for the payment of second interim dividend for the financial year 2022-23. According to an exchange filing, the board of directors of the company will meet today, November 16, to consider and approve the payment of second interim dividend to the shareholders.
Hindustan Zinc is a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited. The Government of India owns nearly 35 per stake in the company.

"The Record date for eligibility of second interim dividend, if any, so declared will be Thursday, November 24, 2022," the company said in the filing.
The company had previously paid an interim dividend of Rs 21 per equity share in July. This was the first interim dividend for the current fiscal.

Hindustan Zinc gained over 1.50 per cent on the NSE today to settle at Rs 319.15 apiece.
The stock remained in a consolidation phase so far this year. In the past one year, the stock has yielded a negative return of around 4 per cent.
The stock's 52-week range is Rs 371.70 - Rs 242.05 with a market cap of Rs 1.35 lakh crore.

Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) reported a 3.9 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 2,017 crore for the quarter ended September 30, on the back of higher revenue from operations. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1,940 crore in the year-ago period, Hindustan Zinc Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
The revenue from operations in the July-September quarter increased to Rs 5,958 crore, from Rs 5,533 crore in the year-ago period, the filing said.
The total expenses of the company during the quarter increased to Rs 3,571 crore, as against Rs 3,428 crore in the year-ago period.
