Stocks in News Today, November 23: Stock markets are set to track strong global cues today, November 23, as the SGX Nifty - an early indicator of sentiment on the NSE Nifty50 - was up by 60 points, or 0.33 per cent, at 18,348 in the early trade. Shares in Asia traded higher with Hong Kong's Hang Seng index gaining over 17 points and South Korea's Kospi was up by 0.39 per cent. Japanese markets are closed for a public holiday.
US stocks to rose on Tuesday with all three major indices gaining over 1 per cent. The S&P 500 gained 53.64 points to end at 4,003.58 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 149.896 points to 11,174.407. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 397.82 points to 34,098.10.
Earlier on Tuesday, the 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 274.12 points or 0.45 per cent to settle at 61,418.96 and the broader NSE Nifty gained 84.25 points or 0.46 per cent to 18,244.20.

Vedanta: Metal major Vedanta Limited has declared an interim dividend of Rs 17.5 per equity share. This is the third interim dividend by Vedanta for the financial year 2022-23. According to an exchange filing by Vedanta, the Mumbai headquartered company will pay 1750 per cent dividend to its shareholder having a face value of Re 1 each.
Nykaa: FSN E-Commerce Ventures, which operates under the Nykaa brand name, on Tuesday said its chief financial officer Arvind Agarwal has resigned from the company. Agarwal joined Nykaa from Amazon in July 2020 and is among key managerial personnel (KMP) who handled the initial public offer of the firm.
Inox Green Energy: Inox Green Energy Services is all set to make its market debut today. Inox Green Energy's public offer was received 1.55 times the subscription. The company received bids for 10.37 crore shares against 6.67 crore shares on offer.
Vodafone Idea: Shareholders of debt-ridden Vodafone Idea have approved issuing shares worth Rs 1,600 crore to ATC Telecom Infrastructure on a preferential basis, according to a regulatory filing. Vodafone Idea Ltd board has given its nod to settle Rs 1,600 crore dues to equipment vendor ATC Telecom by converting the due amount into equity, if the amount remained unpaid in 18 months.
Paytm: Shares of Paytm tanked on Tuesday, November 22, to hit a fresh 52-week low. Shares of One97 Communications, the parent of Paytm, slipped to Rs 475.55 on the National Stock Exchange.
