TCS Dividend 2023 Date, Ex Date, Record Date: TCS share price slipped 2 per cent in early morning deals on Monday, January 16, as the stock trades ex-dividend date. At 9:25 AM, the shares of India's largest IT company quoted Rs 3304 apiece, down by Rs 70 or 2.06 per cent.

An ex-date is a date when a stock trades without the benefit of dividend or any other corporate action.

TCS Dividend Per Share Amount

TCS, while announcing its Q3FY23 results, declared a third interim dividend of Rs 8 and a special dividend of Rs 67 per equity share of Re 1 each. It means that TCS will pay Rs 75 dividend to its shareholders.

"We would like to inform you that at the Board Meeting held today, the Directors have declared a third interim dividend of Rs 8 and a special dividend of Rs 67 per Equity Share of Re 1 each of the company," the company siad in an exhange filing earlier.

TCS Dividend Record Date 2023

TCS has fixed record date for the payment of interim dividend and special dividend.

According to information available on BSE website, the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the payment of Rs 75 dividend amount is January 17, 2023.

"The third interim dividend and the special dividend shall be paid on Friday, February 3, 2023, to the equity shareholders of the Company, whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company or in the records of the Depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, which is the Record Date fixed for the purpose," the company said in an exchange filing.

TCS Dividend Payment Date

The dividend amount will be credited directly into the shareholders' bank account linked to their Demat account on the payment date. The payment date shall be February 3, 2023.

"The third interim dividend and the special dividend shall be paid on Friday, February 3, 2023, to the equity shareholders of the Company, "the company said.

TCS reported an 11 per cent rise in December quarter net profit to Rs 10,846 crore, led by overall growth and forex gains. The Tata Group company had reported a post-tax net profit of Rs 9,769 crore in the year-ago period.
