The markets will keep an eye on the important Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) meeting and Cabinet meeting at 11 am today.

The 5-day rally in Dow and S&P came to halt as Dow falls by 282 points while the latter falls over 31 points. Another major US index Nasdaq falls by 137 points. Another major US index. Among other markets, SGX Nifty traded with some gains at 16625.

There Futures softened while Nikkei was up 100 points.

Crude oil ended flat around USD 69 while MCX Gold prices hovered around Rs 47,200 per 10 grams on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Silver futures fell by Rs 300 to end around Rs 63,100.

Markets to remain shut on Thursday on account of Muharram and hence today will be the day of expiry for the Futures & Options (F&O) markets.

HDFC Bank will now be able to issue new cards. The Reserve Bank of India Lifts restrictions.
