D-Street enters Samvat 2080 | Sensex ends 355 pts higher, Nifty settles at 19,526 amid broad-based gains
Dalal Street makes a strong entry into the new Samvat year, 2080, with the Sensex finishing the special muhurat trading session with a gain of 354.8 pts, or 0.6 per cent at 65,259.5, and the Nifty settling at 19,525.6, up 100.2 points, or 0.5 per cent, from its previous close.

Broader gauges Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 are up 0.7 per cent and 1.1 per cent at this moment, having gained as much as 0.9 per cent and 1.5 per cent earlier in the session, respectively.
