Nifty Bank ended 0.35 per cent higher at 44,766.1.

Chennai-based Chennai-based integrated facilities management service provider Updater Services launched an initial public offer (IPO) on Monday, September 25 to raise up to Rs 640 crore. The IPO comprises fresh issuance of shares worth up to Rs 400 crore, and an offer for sale (OFS) worth up to Rs 240 crore by promoters and existing shareholders.

The subscription window for the IPO will be open, from 10 am to 5 pm, for three trading days, ending September 27. The basis of the allotment of shares under the IPO is set to be finalised on October 4. The Updater Services stock is likely to be listed on bourses BSE and NSE on October 9.

Share Market Today LIVE | LIC shares under pressure after PSU life insurer receives GST demand notice of Rs 290 crore
Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) shares are under pressure on Monday, after the state-run life insurance giant received a Goods and Services Tax (GST) notice to the tune of Rs 290 crore. The LIC stock declined by as much as Rs 3.7, or 0.6 per cent, to Rs 647.5 apiece on BSE, falling for the fifth session in a row. In a regulatory filing post-market hours on Friday, LIC said the tax notice was from the Bihar- Additional Commissioner State Tax (Appeal), Central Division, Patna. Read more

Shares of Delta Corp, the gaming and hospitality company that owns and operates casinos and hotels, are in a free fall on Monday, September 25 after receiving a goods and services tax (GST) notice amounting to Rs 16,822 crore.
The stock continues to slide to trade at Rs 144.35, down by 17.63 per cent on BSE. The company received a tax notice under both CGST and SGST, totaling Rs 16,822 crore. The company has been asked to pay Rs 11,139 crore in tax for the period between July 2017 and March 2022. Furthermore, its subsidiaries have received a tax notice worth Rs 5,683 crore.
