L&T: Shares of the infra major ended with a cut of over 1 per cent at Rs 2,894.35, even as the company posted a nearly 45 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,223 crore for the quarter ended September 30.

Sun Pharma: Shares of the drug maker ended 2.67 per cent higher at Rs 1,117.8 as the company’s net profit during the September quarter rose 5 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2375.51 crore.
Jindal Steel and Power Limited: Shares of the steel company ended 8 per cent lower at Rs 583.6 after global brokerage Citi downgraded the stock to ‘sell’ from the earlier ‘buy’ rating.
Blue Jet Healthcare: Shares of the specialty pharma products manufacturer on its listing day ended over 19 per cent higher at Rs 413.4 apiece on the NSE. The IPO issue price was fixed at Rs 346.
Safari Industries: Shares of the luggage maker ended around 2 per cent higher at Rs 4,208.2 after the company announced the issue of bonus shares to its shareholders in the ratio of 1:1.
Thangamayil Jewellery: Shares of the jewellery company were locked in a 10 per cent lower circuit of Rs 1,284.3 at the close after its September quarter earnings.
MRPL: Shares of the state-run petroleum refining company ended marginally higher at Rs 103.95 after the company reported a profit after tax of Rs 1,059 crore in the September quarter in comparison to a net loss of Rs 1,789 crore a year ago.
Birlasoft: Shares of the IT services firm ended over 4 per cent higher at Rs 572.45 amid high volumes.
Star Health and Allied Insurance: Shares of the private insurer ended with a cut of over 5 per cent at Rs 548 after the company reported a weak set of numbers for the September quarter.
Vodafone Idea: Shares of the telecom player ended over 7 per cent higher at Rs 12.78. The stock has extended its previous gains and is up 20 per cent in the last four sessions.
