Nifty ended 0.51 per cent higher at 19,230.6 points, while Sensex added 0.44 per cent and closed the session at 64,363.78. Meanwhile, broader markets outperformed their headline peers, with the Nifty Midcap 100 gaining 0.7 per cent.

Tata Motors: Shares of the auto major ended 1.59 per cent higher at Rs 646.95 after the company reported strong numbers for the September quarter.
DLF: Shares of the real estate company hit their fresh 52-week high of Rs 599.75 in intra-day trade today, despite the government’s ban on most construction activities in the Delhi/NCR region.
Berger Paints: Shares of the paints company ended 0.8 per cent higher at Rs 553.25 after the company announced a good set of Q2 numbers.
Titan: Shares of the watchmaker ended 2 per cent higher at Rs 3,272.5 after the company reported a 9.6 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in its standalone profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 940 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2023.
Ratnamani Metals: Shares of the iron and steel company, after hitting their fresh 52-week high of Rs 2983.1 intra-day, settled 3.6 per cent higher at Rs 2925.75.
SBI: Shares of the state-run lender ended over 1 per cent higher at Rs 579 ahead of its Q2 results due to be announced on November 4, 2023.
Zomato: Shares of the food delivery company gained a whopping over 8 per cent and settled at Rs 116.4 after the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 36 crore in the Q2 period in comparison to a Rs 251 crore net loss in the same period last year.
Marksans Pharma: Shares of the pharma company ended higher at Rs 113.5, up 3.75 per cent, after its subsidiary received an establishment inspection report (EIR) from the US FDA.
MRF: Shares of the tyre manufacturing company settled at Rs 1,07,916, down over 2 per cent, even as the company reported a 352 per cent jump in its consolidated PAT in the Q2 period.
Senco Gold: Shares of the company were locked in the 10 per cent upper circuit at Rs 746.55 at the close amid heavy volumes.
