BEL Dividend 2023 Record Date: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), NSE: BEL, a Navratna defence public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has fixed the record date for the payment of second interim dividend. According to an exchange filing, the Bengaluru headquartered company would pay dividend to its shareholderd if approved by the board.

The filing said that March 25 has been fixed as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the payment of dividend amount.

"We would like to inform you that the Record Date for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of the shareholder for payment of Second Interim Dividend on Equity Shares of the Company for the Financial Year 2022-23, if declared, will be Saturday, the 25th March, 2023," the filing said.

BEL Dividend History

Earlier in August 2022, BEL had paid Rs 1.50 dividend per equity share. In September, the company issued a bonus in the ratio of 2:1. Besides, in February, the company paid its first interim dividend of Rs 0.60 per share.

BEL shares closed at Rs 92.45 apiece, down by 0.32 per cent on Wednesday on NSE. BEL shares have yielded a positive return of 33 per cent in the past year. At current market levels, the company has a market cap of Rs 67.73 thousand crore.

Bharat Electronics is an aerospace and defence electronics company under the Ministry of Defence. It was founded in 1954 and has its headquarters in Bengaluru. BEL manufactures advanced electronic products for the defence forces.
