Gandhi Jayanti market holiday: Will the commodity market remain shut on October 2? Commodity exchange MCX will remain shut for both morning as well as evening sessions on Monday, October 2. In other words, market participants will not be able to trade in gold, silver or other commodities on MCX for the entire day on October 2.

When will trading be available on MCX next?

Trading in derivatives of gold, silver and other commodities will resume for the morning session the next day, on October 3.

What are the timings of morning and evening sessions on MCX?

MCX conducts morning and evening sessions of trade from 9 am to 5 pm and from 5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm (seasonal), respectively.
