NBCC Dividend 2023 Record Date, NBCC Dividend History: Civil construction company NBCC (India) has announced to distribute 54 per cent dividend per share to its shareholders, according to a BSE filing by the state-run company. The firm has also fixed the record date for the payment of the final dividend for the financial year 2022-23.

The 54 per cent dividend declared by the board of NBCC translates into Rs 0.54 per equity share having a face value of Re 1 each. A dividend is the distribution of earnings by a listed company to its shareholders.

To decide the eligibility of shareholders to whom the 54 per cent dividend will be paid, the board of NBCC (India) has also fixed the record date. A shareholder must hold the equity shares of the company in his/her demat account as on the record date to become the beneficiary of the corporate event.

"The company has fixed Friday, September 01, 2023 as the record date for determining shareholders eligible to receive final dividend of Rs 0.54 per paid up equity share of Rs 1 each (i.e.@ 54 per cent) for the FY 2022-23 subject to the approval of shareholders at the 53rd AGM of the shareholders," the public sector company under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs said in an exchange filing.

NBCC Dividend 2023 Payment Date

The dividend recommended, if approved at the AGM, would be paid within the stipulated period of 30 days of the declaration, the company added in the filing.

NBCC shares on Monday slipped more than 3 per cent to finish at Rs 47.24. At the current market price, the dividend yield of the company is 1.14 per cent.

Earlier in September 2022, NBCC had paid Rs 0.50 dividend per equity share to its investors. In September 2021, the firm paid Rs 0.47 dividend to its shareholders.

According to BSE data, NBCC shares have delivered a return of 16 per cent on a YTD basis. In the past year, the stock has yielded a return of 42 per cent.
